So apparently there is a day when people honor their dogs.  I don’t get it?  Aren’t we honored and loved all the time?  I know in my house we are.

Time cuddling with humans, multiple walks, time playing in the back yard, humans petting us, if we paw at them a few more head scratches (see video below) happens everyday.  Getting at least one treat a day (even if I am told it is for my hips), yup you guessed it everyday.  AND if one of my humans is gone for a nighttime sleepy I get something special from them, usually a squeaky toy.  What is different about National Dog Day?  Nothing too special here.
