Jack, the senior dog, is taking the approach of ignoring the new puppy.  This is rather funny as Nutter keeps sniffing Jack’s butt in an effort to play.  Jack walks away and Nutter keeps his nose on Jack’s butt.  Jack is the king of ignoring (or not being aware?) of Nutter.
